Tori
Co-Founder | Director of Hair & Operations
Co-Founder and Director of Hair & Operations, Tori leads the hair side of Salon Maie — from the first consultation through to the finishing style.
Tori approaches hair the same way every time: listen first. Before anything is mixed or cut, she works out what the person in the chair actually wants, how they wear their hair day to day, and how much time they want to spend on it at home.
Her eye is drawn to lived-in, grow-out-friendly work — soft balayage, dimensional blondes and colour that still looks beautiful weeks after leaving the chair — paired with a cut shaped to suit the face and the routine it has to survive.
As Director of Hair & Operations, Tori also sets the rhythm of the salon itself: how an appointment runs, how a client is greeted, and the standard behind every finish. Alongside Hannah, she is building Salon Maie into the kind of Ipswich salon she wanted to visit — warm, unhurried, and honest about what your hair needs.

Hannah
Co-Founder | Senior Beauty Therapist | Head Beauty Educator
Co-Founder, Senior Beauty Therapist and Head Beauty Educator, Hannah leads the beauty side of Salon Maie — ten years in the industry, and more than 1,000 students trained along the way.
With ten years in the beauty industry, six of them as an educator, Hannah has trained more than 1,000 students across Australia through in-person and online education. Specialising in lashes and brows, she combines technical precision with an eye for enhancing natural features.
Every treatment is thoughtfully tailored, drawing on that knowledge to deliver beautiful results with client comfort and care at the forefront. She believes feeling confident in your treatment starts with feeling confident in your artist — so her chair is a safe, welcoming space where questions are encouraged, advice is honest and every client feels heard.
Her passion for education runs beyond technique: she helps artists understand the reasoning behind their work, refine their judgement and deliver exceptional treatments of their own. As Head Beauty Educator, Hannah sets the standard for personalised treatments, meaningful education and client care at MAIE.
